EMPOWER YOURSELF
Our Philosophy
At the Australian Academy of Shukokai Karate-Do (AASK) we pride ourselves on empowering our students to feel confident as they learn and grow on their marital arts journey. We are a traditional martial arts school based on the original teachings of Sensei Chojiro Tani from Japan in 1949. Since then Shukokai has evolved into Kimura Shukokai International (KSI), a practical and artistic form of martial arts that teaches both self-defense skills and self discipline values. In 1998 AASK opened it's doors in Diamond Valley to share our passion and knowledge for Shukokai Karate-Do to all. We welcome students of all ages and experience levels to create an inclusive club with a friendly and encouraging environment. Over the past 25+ years AASK has developed an excellent reputation of being a successful and disciplined martial arts school with a drive to excel. We cater to both the hobby martial arts enthusiast as well as those who aim higher with our students competing at state, national and international levels.
